Obvix Labs (“we”, “us”) operates amyy, an AI companion for teenagers. this policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. plain language. no lawyer-flavored fog.
i.
what we collect.
account info — email, google account id, name from your google sign-in; an optional display name and short bio.
onboarding answers — age range, what you usually talk to AI about, and any mood you previously reported during setup. an optional first-message draft stays in your browser until you send it.
conversations — every message you send and every message amyy sends back, with timestamps.
memories — short facts amyy extracts from conversations to remember you across sessions. you can view, edit, and delete these from the memories panel.
crisis flags — when amyy detects a crisis-level message, we record a SHA-256 hash, time, and category in a separate crisis record. the original message remains part of your conversation history.
security records — sign-in IP addresses, activity times, consent version, and account restriction or session-revocation records.
internal beta review — authorized AMYY administrators can review stored profiles, conversations, memories, feedback, safety flags and model records to investigate problems and improve the service. this dashboard does not itself train models.
model usage — provider and model identifiers, request outcomes, timings, and reported token counts for AI requests. these usage records do not contain message text.
feedback — your ratings and free-text answers when you complete a micro-survey.
ii.
what we don't.
we don't sell your conversations. the service providers listed below process data needed to operate amyy.
openai, on microsoft azure — processes conversation context to generate replies and extract memories. processing is governed by the provider account and service terms.
hostinger & microsoft azure — host the app, database, and AI compute on our behalf.
cloudflare — provides DNS and edge routing.
sentry (optional) — for crash reports. configured to send error types and code locations, with message text, request data and local variables removed.
microsoft clarity (optional) — under the same adult-account and analytics-consent conditions, records masked page interactions for usability review. rendered text is masked, admin pages are excluded, and we do not send your AMYY account identifier. withdrawing analytics consent stops recording.
google analytics (optional) — loaded only after you accept analytics and your signed-in profile confirms the 18+ age group and completed onboarding. receives page-view events and analytics identifiers.

how long we keep data.
account info, conversations, and memories: kept until you delete your account.
crisis-event records: retained for 90 days, then automatically purged.
backup copies are separate from the live database. contact us for the current backup retention and deletion status; we do not promise a verified 30-day backup expiry.

your choices.
Analytics: off
access — download everything we hold on you as one json file from the profile menu.
correction — edit your profile and memories from the profile and memories panels.
deletion — delete your account from the profile menu. this deletes your messages, memories, profile, and crisis records from the live database. backup copies may remain until they expire.
withdrawal — you can stop using amyy at any time.

your rights by region.
depending on where you live you may have extra rights. to use any of them, email connect@obvix.io — we verify the request against your account and reply within the time your law requires.
available rights and consent requirements vary by location. account export, profile editing, memory editing and account deletion are available in the app. contact us for other requests or information about our provider agreements and international data processing.

children & parental consent.
onboarding records your self-reported age range and acceptance of the terms. amyy does not currently provide a verified parental-consent flow or independently verify age. a checkbox is not verified consent from a parent or guardian.

amyy is for users 13+. we don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. if you're under 18, please review these terms with a parent or guardian.
