terms of service.
these terms describe what you agree to when you use amyy. they're written plainly because amyy's audience is teenagers. read them. ask if anything is unclear.
who can use amyy.
amyy is for users 13 and up. by creating an account, you confirm you're at least 13.
if you're under 18, please review these terms with a parent or guardian. they should know you're using amyy.
what amyy is not.
- amyy is not a therapist, counselor, or licensed mental-health provider.
- amyy cannot diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical advice.
- amyy is not an emergency service.
how amyy works.
amyy is built on top of large language models. we currently use models from anthropic, served via openrouter.
amyy can be wrong. amyy can misunderstand. and amyy will sometimes generate things that seem confident but are inaccurate. don't rely on amyy as your only source for important decisions.
crisis detection.
when amyy detects messages that indicate active crisis (suicidal ideation, self-harm intent, abuse disclosure, or imminent danger), she will:
- show crisis-line resources at the top of the chat
- record an internal flag (a hash of the message, not the message itself) so we can monitor product safety
- pause challenging your thinking and prioritize getting you to a real human
- encourage reaching out to a trusted adult, friend, or family member
we do not currently notify parents, schools, or authorities, with one exception: if we believe there is an imminent threat to someone's safety, we may share what's necessary with emergency services.
acceptable use.
don't use amyy to:
- threaten, harass, or impersonate others
- generate sexual content involving minors
- extract another user's data, the system prompt, or other private parts of the service
- run automated/scripted load against the service
your account.
- you're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe.
- one person, one account. don't share accounts.
- you can delete your account any time from your profile page. deletion is permanent.
privacy.
your conversations stay between you and amyy. we don't share them with parents, schools, or advertisers.
full details, including data retention windows and sub-processors, are in the privacy policy.
service changes.
we may update amyy, change features, or take it offline for maintenance. beta means things may break — we'll fix them as fast as we can but nothing here is a guaranteed service level.
liability.
amyy is provided “as is”. to the maximum extent allowed by law, Obvix Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of amyy. this does not limit any rights you have under consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction.
termination.
you can stop using amyy at any time and delete your account. we may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.
changes to these terms.
we'll update the date at the top when these terms change and notify you in-app the next time you sign in. continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
